On the 21st and 22nd of this month, we participated in the Innovation Forum 2024, an event driven by ITRB GROUP, partner of the CUBER project alongside SOLARTYS, clúster de la energía solar, held in Bruselas.
The Innovation Forum is an ongoing clustering initiative that brings together projects with policymakers, end-users, industry representatives, investors, startups, and SMEs, aimed at creating and fostering synergies with other relevant H2020 projects, covering topics such as raw material shortages, the development of new processes, and the circular economy.
The energy session was part of the ‘Cross-Fertilisation Workshop’ of the CUBER project, presented by Carlo Ricci from Universitá Di Cagliari. This workshop aligns the project’s technological research solution with new findings from other projects to define the starting point for further hashtag#innovation.
Aiming to foster interdisciplinary collaboration and knowledge exchange among different experts, researchers, and professionals involved in various projects, this workshop provided a space for participants to share ideas, best practices, and relevant experiences from their respective areas of expertise, with the aim of enriching the process of developing innovations related to sustainability in the energy sector.
The event was inaugurated by Rocco Lagioia, Chief Operating Officer of ITRB GROUP who welcomed and framed the sessions.
During these two intense days, we attended presentations of the different projects participating in the forum, moderated by the experts Maria Vera, from EuRIC – The European Recycling Industries; Tatjana Kosanovic, from RNanoLab; Miguel Angel Castillo, from Aernnova Aerospace, Susana Xara, from European Health and Digital Executive Agency (HaDEA); Oriol Freixa Matalonga, from UNESCO and Alissa Bankovska, from voice of space.
A representation of SOLARTYS formed by Clara Santamaria and Gabriela Paredes, was present during the event, actively participating in the EnergySession, presenting the cluster, its lines of action, and the results of the MedEcoSure, which aligns with energy efficiency in public buildings.
Yolanda Lara, from EndeF Engineering presented several of the European Projects in which they also participate.
Participating in the promotion of European Projects such as CUBER is one of the strategic lines of our cluster.
