SOLARTYS, Spanish Solar Energy Cluster is a non-profit association that works together with the entire solar energy value chain: manufacturers and distributors of materials and components, engineering companies, installers, solar energy project promoters and research centres. We bring together all relevant actors in the sector.
Together we join forces to make the energy transition a reality.
Our aim
The aim of SOLARTYS is to improve the competitiveness of our partners and the sector in which they operate, both photovoltaic and solar thermal. To achieve this, we work as facilitators, promoting collaboration between companies and other agents in the solar value chain and with complementary sectors as the main tool and line of action, creating integrated and innovative products and services.

In 2022. we participated in 16 innovative projects with a total of 69 participating partners.
In 2022, we raised €1.5 million for the implementation of our collaborative R&D and Innovation projects.

SOLARTYS: a cluster in the Secartys ecosystem
SOLARTYS is part of the Secartys ecosystem, a non-profit association with more than 55 years of history in supporting business competitiveness and internationalisation of its 420 member entities and 4 clusters. Secartys’ main focus is on sustainability, digital transformation and new technologies – IoT, artificial intelligence and blockchain, among others – as tools for the development of its action plan, working towards a more efficient and, above all, sustainable future.
Apart from SOLARTYS, the Spanish Solar Energy Cluster, the ecosystem is made up of: CICAT, the lighting cluster, Smartech Cluster, the cluster for smart technologies for cities, buildings and industry, and AEPIBAL, the association for batteries, cells and energy storage.
Thanks to this, we count on its International department, to accompany our members in their internationalisation. This allows our partners to collaborate with complementary sectors and obtain a wider range of services and benefits.
